The Quantz Series 665 model is equipped with a full silver headpiece. This provides a warm sound and a wide range of overtones. The flutes of the 665 series are made of nickel silver, they are all silver plated. This silver plating provides the shine and at the same time forms a corrosion protection for the material. In addition, all Quantz flutes have a pointed lid mechanism. These pointed lids increase the stability of the mechanism and at the same time make it of higher quality, unique in the student segment. For all models of the Quantz series you can choose from closed flaps or ring flaps. Ring keys require a more precise fingering technique, which in turn benefits more accurate flute playing.
