The JTR710 pocket trumpet is vastly superior in sound to conventional pocket trumpets because it has a full-size bell. Many trumpet teachers recommend a cornet for beginners, especially for young players. But with the JTR710, the arms are much closer to the body, the leverage is correspondingly less, and thus learning the trumpet is much easier.
